Children are a heritage from the Lord…” {Psalm 127:3}

I’m thankful for a mother, who took this verse to heart. She chose to make it her full time job to be at home with my 5 siblings and I.  I’m so thankful for that because there has never been a moment where I could say she wasn’t there. She was always there for us!  When we got up in the morning she had breakfast ready, when we went to school she was there to teach us, when we got in trouble she was there to discipline,  when we were upset she was there to comfort, when we made an achievement she was there to praise, when we faced struggles she was there to encourage, when we needed someone to talk to she was the one we went to {and still do!}, when we went to bed she tucked us in.

But most importantly is the godly heritage she & my dad gave to us by raising us to serve the Lord.

Motherhood is made up of seemingly a million little things. But those little things turn into big things, eternal things, when you are shaping and molding the life of a child.

Thanks, Mom. I love you!

“Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.” {Proverbs 31:28-29}
