Blessings

Even though baby girl has had a cold all week,  I’m glad it wasn’t the flu! And thankfully whe has still been her normal self despite it.

Going on a date! {I know it was last week but it was so great, I’m still thankful for it! haha}

Staying on top of the dishes and cleaning and laundry…..it doesn’t take much for it to pile up. Thankful the Lord has given me the motivation to just get it done!

Visits from my siblings and piano lessons

A helpful hubby. Especially on those mornings where it is unusually crazy with baby feedings, breakfast/lunch making, diaper changes, getting ready for work and all that jazz. I love him.

• Baby girl was sick this week but I am thankful that she seems to be coughing less, her nose is clearing up a bit & she never ran a temperature.
• Looking forward to baby girl meeting her Great-Great-Aunt for the first time this weekend! {she is really GREAT!!!}
• Glad to have had another good week of piano teaching. Starting to slowly get ready for the recital!
• So thankful to have my hubby’s help with baby girl especially when I’m making dinner or trying to get stuff done.
• Oxi-Clean laundry spray. That’s all. :P

The Weekend

My weekend didn’t really go as planned. Not that you can really plan much with a 2 month old.  :) Baby girl came down with some kind of cold that is mostly a super watery eye, a goopy cough & a gooey nose. I’ve gotten lots of practice with that green “nose sucker” & surprisingly she doesn’t cry when I use it {most of the time.}  But besides that, she has still been her happy little self, which is nice. Nights are a bit hard because she seems to cough a lot then & Mamma doesn’t get much sleep because she has to check on baby girl over and over.  {ever notice that since you became a mom you don’t refer to yourself as anything but?} Humidifiers are great but make me glad I don’t live in a humid place. Don’t think I could stand it for very long.
